Manufacturer's Write Up:
In the beginning, the performer will BORROW any smart phone from a spectator and will search for a tattoo design on the internet. The spectator will choose one of the designs from the list. Next, the performer will show his metal tag chain, which is empty on both sides, and puts it in the spectator's hand. The miracle happens suddenly as performer visually transfers the design from the BORROWED phone and SEALS it on the metal tag, which is being held by the spectator the entire time. A magic metal tag like never before.

Key points: this is a drawing duplication done for the 21st century. That said, you will need a smart phone for this trick that has web access and the facebook app. If you're worried about borrowing a phone with this - you'll need to use your own.
How are the production values: This is a video file that plays on your computer, not a DVD or download. This video is well shot and all the best angles are included. It's only a 24 minute video so it's not very long, and the entire thing is dubbed over with electronic music and "smoke" bumpers. I had previously 7 Remastered from Skymaster and this video is much better than that one, however this one also has NO AUDIO and all of the teaching is done through on screen text in broken English.
Is it well made: the materials included are very well made and will last you forever.
Is it well taught: The unknown performer (his face is never shown) does offer several alternative approaches to this effects and multiple ways this can fit your own skill level and performance style/
My thoughts (what I personally liked/disliked): I liked that this was a modern way to do a drawing duplication - really thinking outside the box. I didn't like that the effect was named "BLINK." Why is it named blink? I would have called it "Rag Tag" or "Ink Tag" or "Tac"
Storage? Does it "pack flat?" You put on the necklace and once you're ready to perform you simply borrow a phone and you're ready to go - it's all you need.
Does it "play big?" I think it's all going to be in how it's presented - in other words "where is the magic coming from?" The video didn't give you a story or an explanation in the patter presented. Does your dog tag have magical properties, do you? Drawing duplication is usually mental, but this is not a mental trick - so you'll need to think through your "how" and "why"
How practical is this in the real world? (can it really be done?) Yes, this is not a difficult trick to perform, in fact it's taught with a "switch" so that the dog tag is examinable, but with a paddle move you would not need to do a switch at all.
BONUS: Also included is a 6 minute effect called "bypass" which is a
"break" the lock screen trick, but to perform you need to borrow an iphone.
Overall score: 8/10 I do like the trick, but I wish it had stronger teaching and some patter presentation ideas.
